University Higher Diploma in Livestock Production
Faced with a growing agricultural model in recent years livestock in Buenos Salado Basin appealed to increased load on smaller areas and lower quality soil . Agriculturization process in recent years has been changing the area devoted to livestock.
Over planteos mixed to permanent adaptation of agriculture and intensive livestock models to stay competitive in these productive environments , constant updating and coerce professionals interacting in these systems becomes necessary .
Reallocating surfaces to livestock farming, the use of agricultural products such as grain and stubble , the need to build reserves to cover deficits from increasing load are examples of the new realities that will face professionals in the near future.
In response to the demands and concerns of graduates, Agricultural Experiment Station Cuenca del Salado INTA with the Faculty of Agriculture of the National University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires , has designed a Superior University Diploma in Livestock Production , as a space for rethinking production systems.
The systemic approach in the analysis of a production featuring wont academic proposal is to provide the most appropriate tools to fully analyze activities , evaluating the overall efficiency of the system and each subsystem.
University Higher Diploma in Cattle Production Systems ” seeks to contribute to regional development through the training of human resources capable of generating competent production systems, and adapted to the new realities , boosting job creation and social inclusion , explains Hugo Veterinary Nigro , Director of the Experimental INTA Salado Basin .
The conceptualization of sustainability in its three approaches: economic productivity , socio- cultural and environmental , from the perspective of the professional Diploma gives great capacity to adapt to the reality of each system analyzed .
The training proposal aims to update the training traditionally disciplinary careers through training in the use of the systems approach and proposed as a space of exchange among professionals in the private sector , Faculty of Agronomy UNCPBA and EEA INTA Cuenca del Salado, who together work they will rethink the current livestock with an integrative approach.
The Diploma will be held in 16 fortnightly meetings to be held between 11 April and 21 November in the College of Agriculture of the city of Azul. Meetings will be on Fridays from 09:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 18:30 with theoretical and practical classes .
