Undoubtedly, Aberdeen Angus is the breed that produces the best meat. This was given the preference of world’s most demanding palates.
Meat “Argentine Angus Beef” is synonymous with high consistency, juiciness, tenderness and flavor, and is produced under the strictest international certification standards (ISO 65 / EN 45011), being included in the Regulation of the Council of the European Union ( 1760-1700 and 1825-1800) and approved by SENASA (Resolution 281/02). He was also a precursor to obtain, in 1999, the recognition of their certification project for the United States, by the Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the country, enabling it to be labeled as “USDA Verified Program”.
To achieve certification, the Aberdeen Angus must pass a strict selection and approve the seven phenotypic quality parameters required. Then the experienced inspectors Argentina Angus Association, specially trained granted final certification. The seriousness of the procedure allows the result meets the standards achieved rank, status and quality defined for meat “Argentine Angus Beef”.
